Ayako Karasawa is an actor born and raised in Kyoto, Japan.

She started her acting career as a member of Gekidan Mufukan (劇団六風館)–an established theatre group. While studying American Drama analysis at Osaka University (with a focus on Eugene O’Neill), she attended the University of California, Santa Cruz’s theatre program to formally study acting. Some of her key appearances are in Ramayana of Monkey and Men directed by Kathy Foley, mindGame directed by Kieran Beccia, and Peter Pan directed by David Murakami.

Since moving to Los Angeles, she has focused on pursuing work in TV/Film, Commercials, and still holds interest in Theatre opportunities–appearing in a Richard III production.

Her latest appearance are in Year Of, Amazon Luna commercials, E2N, The Runner and has more upcoming appearances to be announced.
